I wish this was the actual video, but we know Katy, she will probably make a video of her dressing up as Santa and giving presents to kids at the mall, and then expose herself as Katy Perry.
Might as well recycle the ONLY successful Birthday video character, Princess Mandee.
I'm sure this would have been your answer to "Will Gaga get WOTY?" too.
WOTY is a subjective title though. Objectively there is no way EDIAH is gonna pull the numbers needed to go number one. I know we're thirsty for new music but it'll be lucky to go top 40, let's be realistic
I am being realistic. If this wasn't a Christmas song nobody would be doubting it going #1.
Facts are, these aren't regular circumstances. GP are thirsty for new Katy music. Plus if it's not too Christmas-y she can get a radio deal for the first week.

Radios will not play a Christmas song in November and the GP will not buy a Christmas song in November. It's just a song to go with her H&M campaign, it will not be a hit
The damn song is called "Every Day Is A Holiday". It most likely has deep house production and lyrical content and melodies reminiscent of Dark Horse. Let's not act like we're expecting some boring safe traditional Xmas carol. It's gonna be a bop and radio are gonna eat it up like gingerbread cookies.

Sam is obviously not a Katy stan anymore and is setting us up for the lashings. It's so obvious.
A Christmas song cannot go #1. Pray for Top 40.
Except one did in 1958. Proof it's possible. Anything can happen. I really don't understand why nobody agrees it's possible. Just because it's a "Christmas" song and there haven't been any recent Christmas #1s doesn't mean it's not possible.

Guess this will be the first time I side with the other fan bases to drag Katy and her stans
