Are you serious? It's a French province. What language do you want them to prioritize? If Quebec doesn't take drastic measures to preserve the French language, it would be wiped out. As a matter of fact, even with all these measures, the French language spoken in Quebec is getting worse and worse, in no small part due to the 330 million Anglophones that surround us and the massive influence of the English language.

To the extent that if any of you decided to move here, any children you may have do not have the right to be educated in an English school in the public sector unless on of their parents has attended an English public school in Quebec

God forbid these children learn a second language (the main one where they live no less)! If English is spoken at home, these children will grow up 100% bilingual. And they will be at an advantage not a disadvantage. Everyone knows French is much harder to learn than English, get them a French education and they can pick English literally anywhere (look at the many ATRLers from non English-speaking countries who communicate easily in English).

Generally, I've noticed that outsiders looking in tend to empathize with the francophones but rest assured that actually living here as a (predominantly) anglophone citizen is a daily struggle.

You think being an Anglophone in Quebec is a struggle? Have you ever considered what Francophones are going through in the ROC? They have it much, much harder... why aren't you calling out the English-speaking provinces for barely acknowledging their existence? The numbers don't lie: there are more Anglos living in Quebec than Francophones living in the ROC.

But what irks me is that francophones that want to move or work in the ROC or the US are at a huge disadvantage because by the time they reach adulthood, many don't even have a basic knowledge of English.

Completely untrue (see my comment about the advantage of a French education). Also, if they don't have knowledge of English, it's because they made no effort to learn it. It is without a doubt the easiest language to pick up (and it's everywhere).

and if you all knew Quebec culture, you'd agree that it's not worth saving

So...you not liking a culture=get rid of it?. How repulsive...also how hypocritical:
