She is due one! I personally think Taylor should get it again but I think giving it to the same person two years straight is quite boring. And after Taylor, I guess Gaga is the next pop girl who made an impact this year. So congrats Gaga
It is well deserved because she's slowly but surely climbing back to the top after a big fall with ARTPOP. Not a lot of people thought she could do that again.
In less than 9 months, Gaga has managed to turn her career around since falling short after Born This Way.
Wouldn't you be ****ing fuming if half of your post count was dedicated towards someone you dislike. And instead of failing and ceasing to exist anymore, she managed to prove you wrong and the time you wasted hating her, useless. I'd be MAD.

Idk she was the most talked about celebrity at the Oscars and Emmys, had one of the most acclaimed performances in recent years, won a Grammy for her side project, Awarded for her songwriting talent, countless tribute performances, and philanthropy. I'm pretty sure Viola Davis, her record-breaking win and her moving speech were the most talked about moment(s) of the Emmys, not Gaga.
I'm personally a bit confused as to why people keep questioning it even though the receipts have been posted multiple times. Gaga has achieved career heights this year that some of the other girls will NEVER have. Contemporary icon award? Grammy? A main character part on one of the biggest TV shows out? Your faves simply AREN'T doing it...
at least try to be somewhat transparent & realistic and say Taylor Swift
