I don't know why chart success would need to be dragged into this she didn't release an album this year or a radio single. There's nothing of hers that is obligated to chart this year.
The fact that she was named Billboard's (A MUSIC publication) Woman of the Year without releasing any music speaks volumes on her talent, impact and importance in the industry. She is a treasure.
Queen. Well deserved. She deserved it years ago but it's great that she finally got it, especially in a year without no new music with the exception of TIHTY. Congrats Gaga!
