I went there last March! I went to the Golden Circle, where one spot you can see where the continental plates meet, saw the Northern Lights, black sand beaches, and went hiking on a glacier. Such a beautiful place; I wanna go back. Their winters are mild for how far north the country is, but if you're not used to 30-40F winters, you'd find it cold.

Me and my friend are planning on going there next year, but I don't think we will eventually since I already want to go to Cyprus and Azerbaijan.

Food is pretty expensive (I unfortunately didn't get around to trying their exotic food), especially when you consider they have some of the highest taxes, but they don't tip there. You'll be fine just knowing English as most people know English there. They have plenty of bus tours and buses running within Reykjavik. I did tours to different places in Iceland each day, like one day around the Golden Circle, one day to a glacier, etc.

The Blue Lagoon is relaxing and nice as it is a geothermally heated spa, which feels nice when it's 30-40F in the winter, but I wouldn't spend multiple days there.

I visited Iceland when I was like 15 on a school trip and I underappreciated it so much. I'd definitely love to go back.
