Why exactly should we feel inferior by being a nurse?

They're very different careers. Doctors help diagnose and treat the illness but nurses make sure that the PERSON (not just the illness) is well looked after. And nurses nowadays aren't just stuck to being a "doctors assistant". Nurses can run their own clinics, go into management positions and lots of interesting specialist areas. It's a really exciting career path to be a part of now.
And you can make a lot of money out of nursing if you have the drive and do it right. My mother is a nurse and she works for an agency which pays like 2x the amount that normal nurses make. At one point she was making over £65k a year.
