No one is running around saying it is a success, but to act as if a business having 1m subscribers is something to make fun of and isn't a positive, is ignorant. Especially when they pay monthly for the service. Everything takes time. At least they have continued to try and make it work and are proud of their numbers despite the public humiliation and abrasive reaction. I respect them for that. I still don't use the service though. Spotify and that education discount!
