When asked if Gomez and her are talking these days, she replies simply, "Nope." When pressed if -- as rumored -- their fallout has to do with Lovato not liking Justin Bieber, Lovato*shared, "He’s actually a nice guy. I don’t really know him that well, but he seems to have grown up. He looks like he’s maturing. But, you know, when you’re young and you get older, you change and people change. You have things in common, and then all of a sudden, you don’t. It’s just a part of life."
She also spoke about wanting to be Grammy nominated:

I think so too. At least she's honest about it, which I like I suppose. If Ari and Miley got nominated I don't see why she can't be nominated eventually.
I feel like it's not necessarily that they have anything against each other, they are just two different people who want to go in opposite directions, which is understandable. Not everyone has the same ideas, thoughts, opinions, goals, etc. Also, I don't think it's silly if Demi wants to win a Grammy award someday. That's what most singers want and she is vocally capable of recording a ballad that would deserve at least a nomination.
Yeah, I see they don't having many things in common. Selena's still has kind of a teenager lifestyle and Demi's like a housewife. I'm fine with them not being bffs anymore. I don't get why people make a big deal out of this.
Because it's probably the biggest thing (or award) an artist can accomplish
OT: I like how she's real about things. I have a feeling the reason her and Selena mysteriously fell out was associated with drugs. Good luck to her getting ha Grammy
Everyone makes such a big deal out of Selena and Demi not being friends anymore.. Like how many of your friends have you had since you were like 5?? It's a pretty common thing. Tbh I met my closest friend in sixth grade, and we didn't even like each other til after high school. Like it's really no big deal.
