1) "Gaga paid for it." I find it interesting that the only stans trying to invalidate Billboard are the very stans who constantly bring up Billboard stats when bragging about their fave. If Billboard is so easily bought, did your fave buy their number one singles? The pendulum swings both ways.
2) "Gaga was the only artist who did anything." Rihanna released new music, performed at several events, and released a massive music video. Taylor's album is still charting and she's on a sold-out world tour. Katy Perry headlined the "most watched" Superbowl half time show, is on a sold-out world tour, and has made several public appearances. Beyonce is Beyonce and is always doing something. Nicki has continued to push TPP, even going so far as to publicly fight with other popstars for attention. Madonna's new album came out, she went on a massive promo tour, and is currently touring. Not to even mention the amount of up-and-coming women who have been killing the charts all year. It's not Gaga's fault that while the other girls were inking deals with sock companies and mobile app developers in order to make more money, she was inking partnerships with people and organizations that mattered.
Gaga just keeps winning this year. The acclaim, the media coverage, the awards, it's all so overwhelming for the Gaga stans AND the haters alike.

It's true and this is nothing to do with Gaga. Woman of the year is just a random award some artists buy to promote themselves or their new projects. And the Monsters themselves agreed with this in 2010:
Flashback: Fergie: Billboard's Woman Of The Year 2010

I mean you all seriously don't think that Fergie had more impact than Gaga in 2010

The people agreeing with this are the people who claim it was BEP and not Gaga who started the dance craze. If Fergie and her group were responsible, surely she deserved this award in 2010.

It just goes to show how short-sighted stans on this website are. It's not always about charting (well, it is for some popstars). Gaga's career, relevance, power, and domination isn't only about the charts because she isn't the kind of popstar who needs chart hits in order to remain successful. It must be nice being Gaga.
