Hm. I've seen lots of people on FB, I'm an Australian, who have taken a different spin on this and said that it should define you if you do something like this as a public figure. A lot of people here think that someone as famous as Chris Brown, who commits this act, should be punished for the rest of his life, as an example to others that if they choose to do this to others (which will affect their spouse for the rest of their life), they should suffer the consequences for the rest of their life as well.

Others also say that this is justice for the fact that Chris didn't get, what they see, as an accurate punishment to fit the crime. Some say that he got away with it.

I'm not really sure though. But I've seen that view commonly since his ban.

The reason I can't agree with this is that there are so man abusive celbrites who do not get the blow back from crimes of abuse, So if we don't punish them all then we can't punish Chris. IS HIS crime worse because he hurt someone famous?
