He's an extremely positive force within the Catholic church and one of the best popes in a long time (especially for being an active critic of the Church/Vatican.) Obviously he's still the pope though and all his views don't align with mine, but I can appreciate some of what he does.

I think Pope Francis is making the church progress a lot in terms of their views on the LGBT community. With him being so influential across the world, I'm glad that he is addressing these issues as shown here -> http://time.com/3975630/pope-francis-lgbt-issues/

His answer when asked by America Magazine as shown above was amazing in my honest opinion. I personally think he is really changing the course in making the LGBT community more accepted in this world. It might be just a small step to some, but it is certainly a huge one in my opinion.

Useless like all the other popes, catholic church is trying to market him a lot for the damage control after the loss of so many followers these past years. People are so used to rude ass popes that when this one waves, smiles and says something that is common sense they think he is "great!!" and a "good person", I'll never get it but to each their own
