what is your opinion on ppl who go to school sick? did you do this as a kid? would you make your kids go to school sick? do you do this now at work or uni/high school etc?

No, you should not attend school if you're sick. Esp if you're coughing and sneezing in a public place with 1k other people.

It's probably the parents who are selfish for making their child go even though they are sick! If the child willingly went to school (???) even when they were sick, then I'd call that determination more than selfishness.

lol but for real i'm asking because I feel terribly sick but I still need to go to school. If I miss anymore classes I think I will flop my tests next week
however I feel guilty going sick and possibly getting ppl infect with my coughs and sneezes. so I think I will simply ask my friend to write notes for me and take tomorrow off

Being sick doesn't stop people from having to get up and get things done. You can use cough drops and Hand Sanitizer if you need to go to school sick. If all you have is a cold for example with a frog in your throat, that's fine.

Obviously, it's important to make sure you deal with your sickness, but sometimes you have to go to school.
