No, that's Business/Communications.
Nursing isn't "basic" in any sense, and it's not easy either.
You're always going to find people in any major that are in it wrong reasons, nursing isn't any different. But does that make it basic?
I don't think so.
There's no such thing as a "basic" career, and I think it's really annoying when someone says stuff like that, especially when you think you're better for being an X student. Every career has its importance.
Maybe they don't like their work environment and that's why they are so angry? Or maybe you just have had bad luck meeting that kind of people.
No, wtf? It's very competitive and hard to get in actually One of my friends is a nursing major and she had to keep a 3.8 or higher otherwise she could have been kicked out of the program
But then again she wants to be a nurse practitioner, so idk, maybe that's different!!!!
Well not many people understand that. THey just go into the field to be successful and not many of them make it, then they go into majors like communications or w/e.
Basic? What world have you been living in? Do you EVEN know what nurses gotta do when they're working? Taking care of a person and checking out their current state isn't something many people can't do.

Please. Many of the nurses at my job are lazy and mean as ****. They make the CNAs do everything. Not ALL nurses are like that of course, but its easy to do because techinically all they do is hand out medicine.
