No. They are people who have the capacity to know that black people come out looking all different kinds of ways.
I don't think any regular consumer is aware he is supposedly pushed towards a certain demo because he is played on all stations and is featured on songs with rappers. He is accessible because of ambiguous looks.
If he happened to say the word I can guarantee most wouldn't bat an eye. I know I wouldn't. I already assume he has black in him.
And as I already said he does look black/mixed with black. Many agree and are surprised when they find out he isn't.
