There was no cause or effect.
Sorry but this is exactly the reason why people believe in god, it's WAY easier, there's no WHY for the Big Bang, these things go beyond our rational concepts about reality.
This may help you a little.
Before the Big Bang there was no time or space (there was nothing, including your "god").
If you would've taken that minute and a half to watch the video you would know cuz that's what Stephen said. But I guess your the type of person that prefers to read the bible or watch the Nekci Menji show instead of getting educated.
God exists outside of time and space, though. He is not part of the universe.
God created humans with the capacity to make choices because of that freedom evil happens
Who chooses to get cancer or have horrible genetic diseases? Who chooses to be brutally killed by a natural disaster? Who chooses to have a miscarriage?
