-Then months later, they accused him of rape and sexual harassment. They did not contact the police EVEN ONCE despite her mother claiming she knew about the abuse and rape for 10 years.

-3 years ago, in 2011, Ke$ha told the courts in documents that Dr. Luke had never sexually assaulted her before.

-Instead of filing a criminal case, she filed a civil case and maintained that she be released from her contract with Dr. Luke.

-Her lawyer indirectly indicated that Gaga had been sexually assaulted by Dr. Luke. Gaga's team quickly came out and dismissed this. Then Ke$ha's lawyer deleted his tweets.

-She recently filed an injunction that asked to court to release Ke$ha from her contract with Dr. Luke as soon as possible.

Should probably also note that most rape cases that aren't reported immediately after the fact (e.g. when a rape kit could be performed) are notoriously light on physical proof. It's quite possible they don't actually have much evidence, but that doesn't mean she's lying.

I will concede that Mark Geragos making ostensibly false rape allegations wrt Lady Gaga via Twitter(!) is utterly confounding, though. I have no idea what was going through his head when he decided that was a good idea.

It's not like he's a hack, either.

You can tell most of ATRL is in middle school when they think that civil court somehow relates to whether or not a wrongdoing was committed. Y'all know MLK's murder case was done in civil court, right?

Because her story is very extreme and none of the other huge artists that have worked with dr luke have said anything. Her claims are all over the place and she has no solid evidence.

So you hope she was raped?

In my experience, the majority of ATRLers taking Luke's side are one (or more) of the following:

-- Incessant Kesha haters (?) who love to post that beach pic from 2011 in SYG
-- Stans of Katy / Nicki / some other ATRL fave who works with Luke a lot (wants more hits)
-- Misogynistic victim-blaming lowlifes who think rape is easily proven

There is honestly zero reason to be on Dr. Luke's side. I can understand the neutral argument. There has not been any significant information in favour of Kesha's or Luke's case. I can understand Kesha fans defending their fave, especially since she has been giving us details piece by piece about this whole mess and her problems with Luke dating as far back as 2011, and there are even more clues dating as far back as 2005, when she first signed with Kemosabe.

However, I can't understand why anyone would take Luke's side. Nobody is a Luke stan on ATRL, nobody knows of his past in any great detail due to stanning, and there's no evidence to support his innocence. I get innocent until proven guilty, but there's a fine line between that and willingly siding with an alleged perpetrator, which is what most of ATRL "TeamLuke" members are bordering on.

At first I believed her, but her lawyer, is making the whole case a joke by taking it on Twitter and saying stuff like Gaga was a victim too...

I know, must be awful. This is why so many women are afraid to come forward and report their rapist.

I mean that is very messy, and I'm so confused on why her lawyer would say that. I honestly believe her though, I don't see why she would be lying about this she knew her contract was going to make her unable to make music if she did something like this, and that's where her income comes from. You think she would stop her cash-flow from coming in on purpose like this?? Idk, I'm still not sure but I just don't see her lying and ****ing up any chance she had to be in the industry again.

Well-written, truthful and without bias. Like sure everyone in this case is innocent until proven guilty, but to actively side with Luke and make claim that Kesha is lying is just.... wrong? She is the one with everything at stake, worst case for Luke is slander.

I'll wait for the court to make a decision.

There's a difference between supporting someone because of their rape allegations and supporting someone because you believe the allegations made against them are false. There are plenty of reasons to take Luke's side. The idiot lawyer trying to drag Gaga into this and playing guessing games on Twitter suggests there's no real case. And the suit seems like a last resort for an artist who has publicly complained about her lack of artistic control.
