I find this article a bit exaggerating and a try hard mess...there are thousands of producers around the world...thousands of pop producers...but stars only trust like 10-20 of them...When you want to have a great pop song, you collaborate with the best pop producers...Am I sick of the Max Martin producing 30% of the pop songs? Yes. But It's the artist's choice, not mine.
About the writing part, there are artists who put their fake credits in their songs. If this article has evidence about some certain artists then it should expose them. But don't generalize that much. I noticed these sub Katy's drags. Katy has the idea of her songs and cowrites them. Bonnie, Sia, Ester Dean, Greg Wells can assure all of you in what point Katy writes her own music.
I noticed a hive of stans of one such artist in particular seem to be absent from this thread.
She obviously contributes to the composition of the songs that's why
she is able to get 9 #1s without repeating a single producer. Anyone else doing that? Slay with your cute lyric writing faves though.
