Leave the shirtless threads close the "pop star steps out looking good" type threads. They already have fanbases the shirtless boys don't.

I won't get into too much because Cupid already explained in well detail for all this. We originally sought out ads to help keep us in float as a, news flash to some, continuously growing forum. Part of the deal with these ads was to cut way down on any and every vulgar/explicit details that ATRL has had. Yes, the ads are **** right now and have kind of ruined our forum that we are fixing, but nevertheless we still have them and see the benefits of keeping atrl cleaner from such comments.

We may be just a forum, but we a professional forum in which celebrities are starting to recognize and view. We have news people using us sources and more people paying attention to us. We want to look presentable to everyone viewing. It's like taking your date home to meet mama and your date looking like a hot ass mess; not acceptable.

We have talked about SYG closing down, but in reality we are picking and choosing our battles. We want ATRL to be a great place for everyone of different backgrounds, orientations, etc so we try to take away and add what is needed to grow in a respected and acceptable manner.

Points should count cause they can rack up fast. Then people send help request wanting a lot reversed because they are on the edge of glory.

I mean I'm guilty of both since I posted a My Little Pony picture in ha thread once. I'm a sinner I admit. But I still freely believe that there are worse rooted issues that this forum has created in making it a sport out of this way we trash pop stars (Which I'm writing an article about to submit to Cracked.com) then post like:

I get what you and cupid are trying to say but I personally think there are worse issues on this forum then the whole Grindr-esque post we get. And I agree there are MUCH worse post that do go to far. I do believe there is a way to achieve a balance of it that doesn't take it too far.

But why are those even needed? What do they bring to a discussion other than your extreme thirst for a damn man who most likely doesn't even know you exist? Blunt, but I'm being honest. Why can't you just say "Hot/Sexy/Delicious/etc " and then move along. Do we really need to know that your ass is a gourmet 5 course meal or see an image of what you wish you could do to the person? It's unnecessary. Especially considering you can do a quick Google search and find an appropriate forum to say those things and in greater detail if you'd like. For here, we don't need it.

The last one is typical SYG, the other two I can see the problem with.

But at the same time, it's all within the context of the SYG thread. Whereas most sexual posts are spread across the forum, quite often appearing in totally innocent threads.

Also, as Matty mentioned, the sexual content gave us problems with the advertisers. As it stands, SYG content hasn't effected advertising. I'm pretty sure advertisers expect negative opinions about music/celebrities on a pop culture forum. Whereas I don't think they expect to see **** stars or sexually detailed experiences written out in random threads.

I mean bruh its a joke. I don't literally wanna go up to Diplo and tell him my backside is a meal at the Cheesecake () Factory. Why go to another forum for something that is so whimsical. See that's what I mean but you're kind of trying to criminalize it when its not that serious.

Ddd and calling someone Zaddy can't be typical male thread behavior. Yet calling some one a Pig is. ATRL, ha weird customs.

I meant typical SYG, as in, it's within the SYG rules - so essentially just a regular post there.

But like I said, it's within a thread with low moderation. The graphic posts are in regularly moderated threads.
