Im just mad cause I want to see her doing a Confessions-type of tour where the cohesiveness and flow of the show is just doing its magic, where everything feels like one big song... Its annoying when you know she got it all; the talent, the money to have the most competent people around her, the drive.. and yet she comes up with messiness.. like gurl, give me your talent and Ill happily show you what I can do with it.

Theres a reason I live for and love Bey and not Rihanna, and as I previously stated, the show has shown that Bey is still at her A-Game in both departments, singing and dancing (1+1 and Drunk In Love showed it regarding the vocals and her dancing was really on point during the whole show). However, the style + the setlist really did not compliment her at all. There was no flow, it felt rushed and sloppy, there was no cohesiveness. It felt as if there were no second thoughts behind this setlist, and this is never a good sign. I didnt like it.
I also miss seeing her band now that she kind of scraped them. The stage somehow feels empty when shes the only one on it.
Also, I HATE when she uses those epic interludes and sounds where youd expect some slayage to happen afterwards and all you get is a recycled performance of sth you have already seen one hundred times. Such a lust killer (this happened right before Bow Down). Ugh..

I mentioned vacation because what did you expect her to do? Come up with a completely new arrangements while she's off kissing Jay-Z and Blue in some foreign land?
I do agree with your other points but I'm just taking it for what it is. But I'll be waiting for the next time we see Bey musically. I'm not one to judge based on two events that aren't really featuring new music and isn't part of her tour.

Im kind of scared that shes not going to change very much regarding her tour tho.. I bet we will still get the new Crazy in Love version, the same 7/11 routine, the same Flawless/Feeling Myself Routine, the same GW/EOT medley, the same XO (sing+repeat thing), the same SL, the same RTA+RTW... I dont see a lot of change happening tbh..

I totally agree with this, these shows were interesting, obviously not a huge WW 150 date show, but entertaining none the less

Come now, you know it won't be like that unless she actually go on tour without a new album.

Also, NO MORE PURE POP MUSIC. Enough is enough. If you can't pick right songs, then back off. Just go back and watch that XO performance from tonight and then tell me you want more of that.

This is the first Beyonce performance I ever fast forwarded through. I understand though. You can't expect much change within such a short time frame.
XO, Halo, and 1+1 just don't work though. I wish she would do away with that format. It was so boring especially coming off having done the exact same thing three weeks prior.
I agree this wasn't the best but we should still be appreciative of the fact that she is still MILES above anyone else. Imagine stanning for someone else who consistently delivers the same drab performances FOR YEARS. At least when we're bored by her she is delivering something good.

I'm sorry but i want the old Beyonce back. The one who would know the difference between a festival and a tour venue. An accoustic version of Running with background images of refugees, something that would be so fitting and would touch everyone there. Instead she will do some ratchet songs that have no place on a festival setlist and live on MSNBC where they will slander her name once again about being too sexualized etc. To be honest and i'm speaking the truth because i truly care about Beyonce the person and not just the hype. It is time for Beyonce to manage herself better.

I agree she really need to drop and stop pushing XO. But some fans still like it so it's whatever.
But not pop as a whole though because Sweet Dreams, Runnin', etc. >>>>

Yeah, all the backhanded compliments and phony fixation on what is/isn't prerecorded out of "genuine curiosity" is so predictable.

Actually why does she love XO so much? I really don't get it.

It probably seems a lot better when she is on stage with people singing her lyrics back to her. Not quite as exciting for us.

To her pop music is just like an obligation. She doesn't get pop and she's only doing it to please Halo stans. Most of the pop songs she's been singing lately manage to expose all the weakness and imperfections of her voice and make her sound unflattering. I think God Made You Beautiful was the last time I have heard her effortlessly sing an pop song.

Also we have to remember this was for charity. Maybe it was never her initial plan to do MIA and this in such a short time span but she couldn't - and wouldn't - turn down either one of them. One was good for Jay and Tidal, and Global Citizen is an amazing philanthropic opportunity to change lives.

Weakness of her voice, what the hell are you talking about? Just because she didn't deliver powerhouse vocals recently (which was her goals for ST) doesn't mean her vocals is weak or unflattering.
