Of course. I lived in Geneva for a year, so I'm sure it varies between cantons/cities, but I found it very boring compared to very large cities like London which I'm used to. Geneva for me is a city purely for working rather than for having fun, it is very dull, especially in winter. I also found that people can also be very closed off in Switzerland.
I appreciate Switzerland as a country that runs well with a great quality of life (and high wages, which always helps...), but in comparison to London/Paris/Rome/NYC etc. the cities just do not compare. I think I would appreciate Switzerland a country more when I am a bit older. But for now, I'm in my 20s and it's all about being selfish and having fun, and other cities such as London offer that in abundance.
