As someone who's studied media in college, I personally find most media outlets to be VERY unreliable as a whole (they'll give you basic facts, but they tend to warp and twist things to reflect the outlook they want), and I find news stations to be almost completely unreliable.

Obviously not all media is the same, it's just a quick way to say "Do you trust most media/news outlets? Yes/no.'

I can't even watch / read the news because I can't stand how biased they are in the stories that they choose to cover, and how biased and hyperbolic they are in the actual coverage of those stories.

I only trust ATRL.

That wasn't the intent, honestly. I was genuinely just curious if ATRL trusted media (I see a lot of people on here use what the media says without any stats/receipts/etc. in debates, but I'd always found it to be unreliable, so I was curious if this site felt differently)

For what it's worth your answer is probably closer to mine actually. Obviously I have to trust it to some extent to not instantly assume every news article is a lie... I guess I just don't trust them to give an honest spin on things or their interpretations?

It's great to stay informed but people really need to think for themselves, be open to a diverse group of opinions, and be able to change their minds readily.
