Mickey Mouse Cub? Britney? Justin? They made it.
Controversy, as long as they have a talent to create some works in their favor. In this case, I have zero knowledge of Miley's ability, but she seems to be able to do it(by her tweets). Ok, whatever, you say. Time's have changed. Don't mix the message with the message of delivery.
Miley will make it. TRUST ME. She will. Controversy outlasts music, but only if the music has had an impact. I don't follow Miley, at all, but she's cute, and young, and has a lot pf promise, but she's got the potential to do just that.
Naysayers now will still be anti-Miley 10 years from now. Making up excuses for why the world still cares. I cannot stress how much I'm not a fan. "Fly on the Wall" is the first and only time she really made me believe.
I was there when Britney debuted. I watched Manson's "Beautiful People" performance live in 1997 at the MTV VMAs. So tell me how this is any different. I'm nt a fan in Miley but I believe in her.
Paradox for sure, but I've been there.
I don't want to tell you how to stop Miley, because I think I may actually know the answer... I just want you to put yourself in her shoes. Seriously. Do it.
That "it" factor is there only for those who are willing to see. Those who don't believe will never see it, and are the same people who are baffled that Britney is still selling out stadiums now.
