The album is great, is acclaimed, and is an important collection of pop songs. Whether or not the consumers are purchasing the album is irrelevant, the album further proves the point that Carly is an immensely talented and, most importantly, unabashed pop artist. She sticks to what she's good at and does it far better than her peers. She doesn't bother with trying hard to be edgy!11!1! to distance herself from everyone else. It's an attractive quality and it's really nice to listen to someone who so clearly loves what she does.
