madonna stans are really proud of their fave, thinking she legitimately moved things forward for feminism and the lgbt community.
This is just..so... sad. The nerve. The way gays take advantage of all of the things Madonna has done for them in the past and try to discredit her and paint her out as some kind of "phony" when she is the most real pop girl to ever exist. She never sugarcoated anything and she never disguised herself as anything but herself.
Madonna has done a ton of things for feminism and gays. That's indisputable. Just because some of the things she does now is beyond childish and makes you wonder what happened to the extraordinarily mature and thoughtful woman of Bedtime Stories, Ray Of Light, and Music doesn't negate her past.
