Britney may have sold more albums than Christina, but that doesn't make her a non-factor.
Britney has 5 number one hits (Baby, Womanizer, Hold It Against Me, 3 and S&M Remix), Christina has 5 number one hits as well (Genie In A Bottle, What A Girl Wants, Come On Over Baby, Lady Marmalade & Moves Like Jagger).
Britney has 1 Grammy, while Christina has 6 of them.
Britney was a judge on a popular casting show for 1 season, while Christina was on for 5 season, keeping her name in the media (something a "non-factor" lacks of).
Yes, Britney might be on a Vegas residency but Christina performs a few shows in a year and gets paid millions for it.
A lot of young artists are praising Christina and calling her an influence (Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Tori Kelly, Tinashe and so on).
Christina had a successful movie at the box office and got a Golden-Globe nominee, which is really rare for "non-factors".
Even Christina's biggest commericaly disappointing song "You Lost Me" has almost 60 million views on Vevo, and it's half a decade old and never got any radio airplay.
Songs like Say Something, Beautiful, Hurt and You Lost Me are covered and performed on tons of casting shows such as Idol, The Voice and X-Factor around the world.
The list goes on and on, sweetheart. Christina might not be on the same level as Celine-Madonna-Mariah but doesn't make her a non-factor.
