I think it will pick up, I haven't seen the premier but from what I hear it was really good. I hope the quality bleeds into the ratings. I don't think Scandal and Murder have anything to worry about in terms of being canceled.

Um, ok well the revelation surrounding Rebecca's death was kinda underwhelming and unearned and not believable at all.

Any 10pm show that stays above a 2.0 is solidly safe, most 10pm shows struggle to hit 1.5.

While solid, it's a bit of a disappointing rating to premiere to a series low. Hopefully it adjusts up in the finals and picks up steam in the coming weeks after the well reviewed premiere. But anyone worrying about cancellation shouldn't bother, it's in zero danger of that.

I love both shows but this is still much better than Empire. Can't believe the ratings Empire is getting and what this show is getting

Empire has much broader demographic appeal. It's also in a stronger time slot on a night with weaker competition.

That's good to know. I kinda wish they'd move Scandal the **** out the way. I feel like HTGAWM is more deserving of the 9pm slot. 10 is too late, but I guess that aint happening.

I think the lineup is fine as it is. I was falling asleep waiting for HTGAWM but Scandal is still the biggest show in the lineup so it's a good bridge between Grey's and HTGAWM. Scandal also had a great ending, so hopefully the ratings rise for that next week, which could help the ratings for the entire lineup.

I think Annalise's shooting scene happens during the mid season finale, so I'm not even thinking about it now. I'm curious as to what happened, but I think they're going to use it to cliff us into the last half of the season.

I agree, I still think Bonnie "thinks" they killed Rebecca, but her head was bashed in, and they didn't show them doing that at all.

The Rebecca stuff was underwhelming, it was basically an afterthought. They didn't explain the motive behind it well either, though perhaps that was intentional. But it seemed like they were just trying to kill (literally ) that story once and for all.

It was obvious that that wouldn't be the most shocking part of the finale when the killer was revealed at like 10:30.
