I haven't seen them, but I feel like Halsey's videos are full of shaky camera shots of flowers, balconies, old fashioned cars and Los Angeles set to a sepia filter. Does she sing about how she can do better than men and that she doesn't need a relationship with a man to be happy, and the extra weight around her waist doesn't matter?
I tried. It's not for me. She mumbles too much, the songs are meandering and her lyrics/themes are too superficial for someone who's supposed to be making quality music.
Rihanna's truly lost her touch. American Oxygen and BBHMM are both around 50m views. What I don't understand is how TIHWD is only 30m away from 400m views. Wasn't it a major flop?
