It doesn't even hold weight.
Beyonce started her career in 1998. So in 2003 after 3 albums and 5 years in the industry, she started to lose steam...like any other mainstream artist...convenient how they choose then to start counting her sales. And then in 2004 she went back to Destiny's Child to release Survivor...ff..
...like it's an integral part of her career.
You don't release one album one year. And another the next year under a different name and it doesn't count toward your total.
