Basically Sears had the Wii U listed for $50 by mistake and a bunch of people (including ATRL) were exploiting the glitch by going to Wal-Mart and using their price match policy. Woo, that was a messy thread.
Deleted however because people were talking stuff they shouldn't.
I remember my mother had the most HEATED phone argument with a Sears sales employee and their management about this. She ended up getting it for the $50 in apology.
The last messy thread I ever had the pleasure to read was the thread "Messiest Dick You Ever Sucked" which got deleted. It was over 20 pages are so and I was cackling at every SINGLE comment. The stories people told had me in tears. I would never forget the iconic thread.
Definitely umich's iconic thread made in the wee hours of January 2013:
-Pages, upon PAGES of dirty stuff.
-The dirty threads created after.
-The fact that NO mods were online at the time.
-Lee FINALLY getting online, saw the mess, and acted accordingly:
-umich was permabanned (we had to fight hard for his return), his thread DELETED, along with the other dirty threads. SYG, NHB, AND Random Thoughts were closed temporarily.
-EVERYBODY in that thread receiving WP's left, right, and center
The DEFINITION of messy. I'm so glad I was up when it happened.
