If this were an average person who was being unable to work for a living because of a lawsuit of this magnitude moving slow as molasses it would be an outrage. Do you even realize that the amount of people accusing someone of lying about rape is apart of the reason why so many rapes go unreported and so many people are afraid to speak out against their attackers?
The saddest part of it is that anyone struggling on whether or not to come forward could be discouraged from doing so by seeing the way Kesha has been treated or by seeing online comments accusing her of lying.

This is in no way a "long time". These cases often drag on for years and years.
My mom just finally settled a case against her employer earlier this year that began in 2005.
