I love how people keep putting all the blame on Hilary, yes she is partly to blame but lets not forget she's apart of a major corporate label who didn't fully have her back.
How on earth is Hilary supposed to promote, when she's not given the tools to do so? It's bad enough RCA had almost a year to make things right, but they continued to make the same mistakes. It's like they thought she was just going to sell off her name, they found out that wasn't the case the hard way.
What bothers me the most is that the album went #1 and they didn't push for more through the summer, you think that would have given them the drive to actually push the album and send sparks to fcking top 40.
and yes Hilary could have been more active about it on social media, there was NO hype.
