Why is the rivalry between Selena and Demi's stanbases so huge? Not just on here, but It's probably even worse on Twitter. I'm confused because they started out together as best friends. Sure they had a few falling outs, but they handled it privately, and Selena and Demi will always share a bond. It reminds me of a mini Monsters vs Kats, that's how bad it is.
None of the rivalries between the other Disney/Nick girls are that intense, when some of them have even dissed each other publicly. Ex: Miley vs Selena, Demi vs Ariana, etc. Why aren't those as big?

That is exactly why. Selena and Demi are so close that their fans have to compare every little thing they do. It's like they're linked to each other.
It wasn't like this back in 2009 cause that's when they actually shared fans, like if you love Selena then you had to at least like Demi as well. When the first fall out happened though in 2010 that's when the fans also started their wars etc.

Becuase both are doing Pretty Good at the US but outside they had not done as good as they deserve (Not like Miley & Ariana) Both have big fan bases & with this era its her chance to become a main Girl at the music industry!
