I actually encountered one about two and a half months ago in the woods. It chased me for about ten feet. I stopped and petted it. It rubbed itself against me and I gave it some of the bread I had from my sandwich. I just sat down and talked to it for about 15 minutes. I got to pet it and rub it and it was one of the coolest moments of my life. It then wondered off.
