TLC, DC3 (after their mess they got it right) and Girls Aloud are infinitely better and were actual groups, you could have gotten any other 5 girls to dance around Nicole and it would be the same **** they don't even classify as a group to me, the first album is stellar but it's basically a nicole album and the second was nicole's shelved mess and it was trash

PCD was based after Burlesque Troupes that had one leadsinger, one ore two bg/co-leads (Melody/Carmit) and some eyecandy. The 2nd one wasn't really Nicole's shelved material beside Who's Gonna Love You and Happily Never After. So yeah the concept was different than most girlgroups.

I prefer the Sugababes, but I think PCD is underrated on ATRL. The popular criticism is that only person does most of the singing, but that's no different from plenty of other groups.
And I still don't understand the fascination with The Spice Girls. Other than their success, what was so great about them? I don't think any of their songs, videos, albums or performances have much replay value. I don't get Girls Aloud's appeal either.
