I gotta say I'm not really here for her making radio-ready top40-interview with Ryan Seacrest-pop. I want her to be successful but I feel like a lot of her appeal is how unpolished she is. More alternative stations sound like a better fit for what I would want for her at least. I'm excited to see what she does either way.
Didn't she also promise to put out the file for free if it didn't make the album?
Yeah I think she did ages ago, but she did say fairly recently that David was not going to be on the upcoming album and that she wanted to 'learn how to play the bass better' before she could finish it. Who knows how long that would take and how big of a priority it is for her... I doubt its very high on her to-do list, sadly. I love David too.
I don't really know how to feel about this. Everything she's said so far about the album describing the songs sounds so anti-radio. But I'll perch. REALiTi makes me thing she can pull off the sound she developed with Visions and make it more marketable.
