Most Mexicans are lay Catholics and half support gay marriage.

American Evangelicals stopped trying to promote hate there and have moved further south because they know that their influence on Mexico is waning thin each year.

In short, the majority of Mexicans just don't give a shhh who does what with their life.

Honestly, this happened 500 years ago in 1492 I don't see how this is a valid argument when no one alive today witnessed it, nor their great-great-great ancestors... Not saying what they did was right, but they did what in 1492 was seen as correct and necessary. Bad now? Yes. Contextually then? No.

I know the stats for black people, but I've personally never met a Mexican (immigrant or otherwise) that identified as anything but Democrat (even if there was some disagreement on stuff like gun rights or immigration). Has there been a study done on that?
