Yes, it's racist/prejudiced to write off all people of a certain race as unattractive or inadequate prospective partners simply based on race alone.
Never having experienced a feeling of attraction to a person of a particular race is one thing; to say that you couldn't ever be attracted to or be with a person because of their race is another.
Gay men exclude women from the people they are attracted to, and there's nothing wrong with it, just as there is nothing wrong with excluding groups of people of the people you are attracted to.
I am not seeing the connection here. In the context of this conversation, women have nothing to do with gay men. They are not in the selection process at all. Women are not excluded by gay men
White gay men and gay men of color are however in the same category. Women don't have anything to do here. You might as well throw in children and animals while you're at it.
Not necessarily, but if you actually list your racial preferences on your Grindr profile than that is incredibly rude and absolutely makes you look racist. Basically, you should just keep your preferences to yourself.
If having a preference isnt racist then im not racist
If having a preference is racist then im racist
i dont really care, im not going to inconvenience myself or pretend to be attracted to someone to spare their feelings
For those of you who do date every race, kudos. i aint that type of bitch
Its racist as **** but of course these disgusting ugly no lip flat back whites find it a preference
I follow a black guy I know on tumblr. He has a gay **** blog and ONLY posts white gays. Never seen a single other race on his site. He clearly has a preference for white guys. Is he a racist too?
Just because you either don't want to have the conversation, or are offended that your opinion is being attacked and find it annoying, doesn't mean anything. There are plenty of gay and straight people having this very conversation, not that this conversation needs the validation of straight people to be held. You sound so ignorant. Referring to your almond eyes as "chinky" (a negative). You've got some issues.
i think its stupid to cry over 'issues' as this. its a non issue. let others be attacted to who they want to be attracted to unless they are actually harming someone emotionally, mentally or physically.
and excuse me? my almond eyes as chinky eyes? bitch do u even know me? i will clock u with receipts if you dont keep that noise pollution to the minimum.

Is it really that hard to understand?
Women are "excluded" by gay men from the list of people gay men are attracted to. They are not in the selection process for gay men. As there could be people from some race that are not in the selection process for other people.

Right!? That doesn't even make a tiny bit of sense. Preferring a sex isn't the same as preferring a race. You like a sex - which opens you up to a huge variety of men or women to pursue. Add having a preference of race to that? It's called being prejudiced. A person's skin color or race shouldn't be a factor as long as they are the sex you like and possess all the other qualities you find attractive about a person (humor, loyalty, trustworthy). No other way around it.
How is it prejudice? Not being attracted to the race doesn't mean u dislike them or mean them any harm. The group of people just isn't your preference. I know plenty of black people who are not attracted to blacks with a darker complexion and some who aren't attracted to blacks with a lighter complexion, does that make them racist or prejudice as well?

You can think it's stupid all you want to. Doesn't mean others will feel the same.
And excuse me what? I checked your ass for referring to almond eyes as "chinky" and I'll do it again. What exactly are you going to do about it?
