In terms of worst serial killer (like...sucked at being a serial killer) BTK was caught because he got cocky, sent in a floppy disk to the police about how he was going to start killing again and all the people they never found...and he didn't delete the already existing files off of it, which contained pictures of him. What an idiotic and evil man.

There's a television film on YouTube called "To catch a killer" it's in 2 parts and is about the John Wayne Gacy case, it's very interesting and creepy, it's focused more on the police investigation on catching Gacy rather than the murders. I recommend it tho its 3 hours long but deffo worth a watch.
