I'm kinda considering applying to the School of Visual Arts in NYC to get an undergraduates degree next year. I already have a decent portfolio I can assemble and my grades were great at OSU, etc.

I got my bachelor's in psychology but I have no plans to use it or get my masters for it and thankfully I owe no debt anymore (my grandfather died last year and left me money).

Is it crazy that I'm willing to put myself in debt again?

Why is Jessie J so perfect?

Who You Are is the perfect album. All of the single choices were spot on.

Alive was a mess and I like to pretend it doesn't exist but provided a couple cute gems.

Sweet Talker is a decent album, has more good songs than Alive, but still nothing on WYA.

WYA > ST >>> Alive

Sweet Talker was definitely not a decline from Alive. Alive is one of the worst pop girl albums in recent memory and I honestly stanned Jessie so hard since DILAD. I was hyped af for Wild and loved It's My Party, but the album overall.

To be fair I haven't actually listened to ST apart from Bang Bang but I just meant that the overall quality of her work now isn't up to par with her debut

The album is worth a listen tbh. It's still not WYA level but it's not a bad album, unlike Alive. Not great, but not bad either. I just wish she wrote most of her own stuff again. She had so much to say during WYA and it's like she poured everything into that record and has nothing left to give. I really hope not though. She's so talented.

Well she did have a mini-era with the Platinum re-release of Who You Are which had three new tracks "Domino", "My Shadow" and "LaserLight".
