5H's Album has been remastered by a random harmonizer
An unknown harmonizer has just posted a series of videos re-editing 5H's "reflection" album. Most of the changes are very minimal but you can notice the changes while listening.
BOSS has a new intro and instrumental.
The most dramatic change is probably Top Down which has a rap added to it, and I'm slayed.
Reflection's instrumental has been increased in volume (PRAISE THE LORD) and the ending from 2:28 onwards has changed.
This is the version of Reflection should be on the album. This is the kind of 'radio remix' I was talking about had the girls released it as a single. This random Harmonizer did a great job recreating the sound of the live version.
Not impressed. He just pumped up the volume on a lot of these and layered loud ass drums and boosted bass on them. We're conditioned to think louder=better so I attribute any perceived improvements to that. The one major difference I notice is the arp/gate in Reflection's prechorus which I did think was a nice touch. But none of this is very creative or imaginative, and personally I don't find the mixes good.
