He's right. The title isn't saying to DROP out of school; it's about how these useless subjects shouldn't be in school. The video essentially talks about how useless abstract trivial **** like imaginary numbers is higher priority than quintessential skills like learning how to balance a check book. Except the alphabet, basic science and math concepts, and minimal grammar skills, the rest of the things you learn in school are utterly useless.
Actually, here's the uploaders comment about the title:

This video is getting a lot of attention now so I just want to clarify - "Don't Stay in School" isn't inferring students shouldn't stay in school, it's saying topics which aren't practically useful shouldn't stay in school.
There are obviously a lot of benefits to getting an education, I'm just concerned that the topics are not prioritized well at all.

Okay but for me at least, there were plenty of electives to choose from high school. I could've taken accounting where they teach you about budgeting, families, psychology, anthropology, sociology, cooking classes etc.. civics and careers was actually mandatory class. it's not like there are no options for learning things like this, but most people just take their college prerequisites and figure the rest out themselves.

electives aren't mandatory. they're selected by the student. it's not much different than learning outside of school since you willingly chose that class to get information out of it, which you can also do with outside sources
