That's probably because Vermont is so liberal-identified that even their republican voters are probably technically moderate Democrats

I'm really curious if he'll be able to maintain this popularity or if it'll be a flash in the pan thing once primary season hits. I have a feeling that he and Hilary will split the vote and whoever is left standing won't have enough support to beat the Repub candidate

It's more like it is Vermont so who cares. No Republican is going to go there and campaign.

The republicans are burrying themselves, there debates are like trash tv and that's why everyone (including myself) is watching them. Trump is leading by a ton, and if he wins, i can see tons of repbulicans throwing their vote to hilary over him tbh (or just not voting at all).

Clinton leads Trump in a hypothetical election by less than 3 percentage points, and Trump leads Sanders by 0.7 points- both are within the margin of error for most surveys. I don't think we can assume the Dems will win.
