I think the album definitely needed something like High By The Beach as a slight breather, especially for the casual fan. It's not the best on the album but by no means is it bad

Fixed. But honestly, I can't believe they didn't come to the decision of Freak as the lead single. It's the perfect middle ground between commercial and Lana's signature sound. It also has huge visual potential.

I love it, but is it really better than Terrence, Freak, The Blackest Day, Art Deco, Salvatore, Religion, God Knows I Tried, 24, or MTWBT?

Freak is like the wicked dark sinister sister of Florida Kilos ...its elements remind me of Born to Die in the beginning

I've listened to nothing but this album since I got it and I feel like I'm gonna be like this for a long time, it's just too good The fact that it manages to somehow get even better every day too

Also I never have to skip any track, every song is great in my opinion (well I do find the DLMBM cover not up to par with the rest of the album, I don't really think it was necessary but it might grow on me )

HBTB is actually a good single. The only problem Interscope / Polydor have is to give it a good push.

Personally, I wouldn't have gone for Honeymoon and TLY as promo singles, but songs in advance were needed to give the album a push.

MTWB is good, but Freak and Salvatore as singles would have been a better choice.

Everything would be more exciting if Lana had interest to keep the era alive for longer than just a few weeks

She seems interested on this era, a lot more than UV tho.

I agree. She just seems far more enthusiastic and switched on this era.
