It's a mistake on that site i think - go on Amazon.co.uk and you'll see they are £49.99! It's on their home page.
Fire's have never interested me, I prefer iPad's but I think this is good for families from lower incomes or for buying in bulk - such as for education reasons in school.
Although Amazon wins with their kindles, my Paperwhite is one of my favourite gadgets. Hate reading on a tablet.
