I wasn't around much back then, so sorry if I sound like a wannabe to anyone, but I wish the writing was as good as some of the storylines in the late 80s and early 90s. I've watched some old episodes of The Young and the Restless and they were so good.

People knock on the acting on soap operas when it can really be just as good as any other television or movie production. A lot of huge names came from soaps. The one that I always think back on is Julianne Moore though.

LBR Julianne NoMoore's acting is grossly overrated.

i think my fave was episode six(?), but the one where cersei is exposed by the high sparrow. pretty sure it was the ep before hardhome. lena's acting was stellar. her facial expression before lancel was revealed to her was priceless

Stannis was the worst GOT character sans the Boltons and Walder Frey. I'm glad he was ruined. But Davos is one of my all-time favorite characters and I'm so happy he's around.
