Bey's best selling album sold 10M and Taylor's best selling album also sold 10M.I think their peaks are very close. That's why I am doing this comparison.
So both have huge careers and longetivity but which one has the bigger peak?
BEYONCÉ is not only not her peak, but one smash single doesn't make her more global. 1989 slaughtered STed's worldwide sales, Taylor had a bigger tour, and 1989 had overall way more successful singles globally than any Bey era.
Taylor's been the biggest artist in the biggest charts in the world in 2009, and 2013 while Bey's never done that at all once, let alone twice like Tay.
I don't mean to sound blunt, but, like, who cares? Raw total sales are important; where purchases were made really means very little. If 1989 sells more, it sells more, US or otherwise.
