Ellie's new single is weird enough that I don't see it as her completely abandoning her old style or "selling out." She's always had a commercial sound to her. If anything, On My Mind sounds less commercial than most of her last album. It sounds more like a Halcyon bonus track.
Not huge on the song though. Haven't completely parsed all the lyrics yet but from what I can tell it's like it can't decide whether it's supposed to be an Ed Sheeran tell-off or a love song.
