Feraligatr's not exactly a beauty contest winner, but it's not trying to be. Calling it ugly is like calling Freddy Krueger ugly.
That's the point of its design. It's supposed to be beastly.
Meanwhile, Meganium tries to look pretty but just ends up looking derpy and stupid.
