Most of them are deserved. Her material just ain't good

I think it's super tragic that Pitbull's latest two albums have a higher score than Cheek to Cheek & Artpop

Teenage Dream: 52 when it's one of the albums of the decade I'm sure if the critics reviewed it again after its success they'd give it 70+

Success doesn't translate into quality. The only reason pop fans praise it to heavens is because of its milestone and perfectly executed era. The album as a whole - including most of its single - is not groundbreaking, out of the box, experimental, growth-inducing or anything of that kind. It bears Max Martin, Dr. Luke and the likes for the production of sugar coated, radio-friendly, ear-catching tunes that requires no in-dept analysis as to what makes them special. I actually think 52 is a pretty generous score for such an 'okay' to 'bad' album.
