The fact that most were brought by their parents when they were CHILDREN trying to find better opportunities makes me wonder what kind of values you uphold.
This is the stupidest thing I've heard considering many American Universities, especially private ones, take International students.
Yes, they should. If they have the grades and qualifications, why not. Especially if they went through the American public school system, more power to them for overcoming adversity.

So why not overcome adversity in their OWN home country and create opportunities there?
If they're paying, sure. I don't see why not. As long as they don't get financial aid or resident scholarships.
It's unfair for the international students though who have to go through so much to get their foot in the door.

Because they grew up in this country, went to school here and for all purposes are American except that they weren't born here. Why would they go to a Country that isn't home?
